The Nest is your One-Stop-Shop for Sustainable Fashion, founded by Danielle Sturm and Charlotte von Meister in 2021. They owe the early success of their business to the affordability and location of the property, as it allowed them to operate a startup small business in the heart of Providence.

What started as a secondhand shop grew into something much harder to define: slow fashion events, tailoring, mending, sewing classes, clothing swaps, textile recycling, and a genuine community around doing fashion differently. The Nest occupies over 5,000 square feet on the property.

Named one of Rhode Island's female-founded businesses to watch and Best Vintage Store in Providence in 2025 & 2026 by RI Monthly. Convenient, considering you'll be shopping here between clients anyway.
